AS Media Final deadline

Here is a reminder that your  final deadline for completing your blog, is Monday 14th January 2013, at 9 am.  All of the eleven tasks on your assignment brief need to be uploaded before this time, and no changes may be made after this date and time.  Use the brief as a checklist to ensure nothing is missing!  Please also ensure your blog is labelled with the appropriate label to help us mark your work: either Research and Planning, Construction, or Evaluation.

For all AS Media students- 7th January 2013

As your tutor will have told you already, on the morning of the above date, normal lessons will not run, and you will be involved in tutorial activities and assemblies.  During this time 9-12.50, Amy and Scott will be running a workshop for those of you who want to improve on your coursework blog and work on completing the Evaluation.  Bring along an electronic copy of all work that you have  done to date.

As your tutor will have told you already, on the morning of the above date, normal lessons will not run, and you will be involved in tutorial activities and assemblies.  During this time 9-12.50, Zaf and I will be running a workshop for those of you taking the January re-sit unit G322.  I would very strongly advise you to come to this if you want to improve your existing grade.  Bring along the practice essays that you have done over the break and any other resources you have.

A2 Media coursework deadline

This is a reminder that your deadline for completing editing of the video is this Friday 7th December.  There will be no extensions to this deadline. There are lots of bookings in the edit suite over the next few days- make sure you stick to these!

URGENT- AS Media students

There was some excellent work done today in the coursework workshop.  On reviewing the day, Scott, Amy, Zaf and I have decided that we are going to give you until the end of the day this Friday 7th December to make any last-minute adjustments.  We were pleased overall with the work we saw.  In a number of cases, you have a few changes to make that will make a big difference to your overall grade, and we'd like to give you the opportunity to do this.  You need to use your free periods and lunch breaks, as well as Media classes, to carefully proof read your magazines and show your teacher/s, before we "sign off" your magazines.
Next week we will start on the Evaluation.
